Photography Journey
For the last few years, Steven has been traveling around the world working in underwater archaeology and enjoying the unpredictable adventures that come with exploring. He has spent at least a month in most of the places that he has visited due to his profession as an archaeologist. He is usually able to get a good feel for a place in that time and engage with it as a local rather than just a tourist. This is his passion outside of work, to experience the reality of other individuals who are living in different places around the world. For Steven, scuba diving can be like traveling to a different country, as it does not matter where you dive, it is always drastically different to the terrestrial landscape that surrounds you.
Steven's diverse experiences have also led him into a career as a published professional photographer within both of his respective fields.
Archaeology
In the realm of archaeology, he currently leads as a Photogrammetrist at the Natural History Museum of LA. He regularly covers fashion events, and was recently invited as press photographer to shoot LA Fashion Week's shows for two consecutive seasons and appointed to shoot designer Daniela Bozza, responsible for both runway and backstage coverage.
