Steven's education consists of a Master’s Degree in Maritime Archaeology from the University of Southampton, England and a Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology from Biola University in La Mirada, California. He has worked internationally on terrestrial and subaquatic projects in California, Spain, Oman, Croatia, Albania, and England. His expertise in ESRI ArcGIS, QGIS, and photogrammetric methods distinguish him as an valuable asset when working with various contractors. Additionally, Steven holds 16 SCUBA diving certifications with 3 at the professional level: PADI Divemaster, AAUS Scientific Diver, and ESDP Scientific Diver. Throughout his professional career he has developed a high proficiency in directing, supervising, surveying, evaluating, testing, field monitoring, laboratory analysis, generating site reports, and completing a wide range of site forms. His career illustrates a noteworthy dedication to delivering professional archaeological services with expertise.

Steven is a published photographer and holds the title of Travel Editor & Archaeologist for F*Shift Magazine in London, England. His responsibilities include reviewing and selecting all travel-related submissions, along with developing articles for each issue. He is the author of the published travel blog Oh Snap! Adventures, reserving a quarterly column in F*Shift Magazine. Steven's career as a photographer and Editor has taken him to a wide range of places around the world, and has allowed him to witness and document historical events for media coverage publications. Steven also has a strong presence in the fashion realm, having done international photoshoots/editorials in London, Spain, Chile and LA, as well as runway photography. His most recent work highlights LA Fashion Week, and an exquisite photoshoot with international model Carmen Obied (photos coming soon).
